Our recipe is based off the centuries old herbal concoction of the four thieves. 

Legend tells of the thieves who would douse their bodies in a strong herbal concoction, before robbing homes and graves of the dead during the black plague in the 14th century. It is believed that the herbs, now known to have antibacterial and antiviral properties, provided protection to the men and kept them safe from the plague.

Essential Oil Properties:

Clove Bud - cloves have been used for centuries during epidemics and plagues to keep germs at bay. Clove oil has excellent antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, and can also be used to prevent colds and flu.

Lemon - the antimicrobial properties of lemon oil are very useful in assisting with the symptoms of colds, flu, bronchitis. It is said to have immune stimulating properties, meaning it stimulates the production of white blood cells to fight off invading bacteria.

Cinnamon - cinnamon oil is regarded as one of the strongest antibacterial agents known and is useful for resisting viral infections and contagious diseases. Strengthens immunity and reduces symptoms of colds and flu. 

Eucalyptus - is well known for its antibacterial, antiseptic, and antiviral properties. It is also renowned to help clear congestion so is an excellent choice for healthy breathing during cold and flu season. 

Rosemary - is reported to have significant antimicrobial properties and is useful with respiratory conditions. Can also help with sleep and relaxation.

Comes in a 15ml amber bottle with dripolator.

Ingredients - 100% pure clove bud, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary essential oils.

To use, add 5-10 drops to diffuser or oil burner. Can also be used in a spray bottle or mop bucket with water as an antibacterial cleaner. Can be used on the skin by diluting in a carrier oil or moisturiser first.
